Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines how quoll-it (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our iOS and macOS applications (“Apps”). By using our Apps, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Data Collection and Usage
- Personal Information: We do not collect personally identifiable information (such as name, address, or phone number) unless explicitly provided by you for support or feedback purposes.
- Analytics: We may collect limited usage data through Apple App Analytics or privacy-focused third-party tools (e.g. Firebase with minimal data collection) to improve our Apps. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.
- Device Information: We may collect non-personal information such as device type, operating system version, language preferences, and crash logs to help us improve functionality and performance.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share anonymized analytics data with trusted service providers who help us operate and improve the Apps.
4. Data Retention
We retain only the data necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Any optional data (e.g. support emails) is kept only as long as required to resolve the inquiry.
5. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are intended for general audiences and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete any personal information we may have collected. To do so, please contact us at Contact page.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. We encourage you to review it periodically.
8. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at Contact page.
9. In-App Purchases
Our Apps offer digital goods, subscriptions, or upgrades (“In-App Purchases”) through Apple’s App Store. All payments are processed by Apple; we never collect your credit-card or billing details directly.
- Purchase Data: When you complete an In-App Purchase, we receive a transaction receipt (product ID, purchase date, subscription status) from Apple. We use this data only to unlock purchased features, verify subscriptions, and provide customer support.
- Retention: We retain purchase receipts and subscription status for up to one year, solely to validate entitlements and respond to support inquiries. After that, receipts are removed from our servers.
- Analytics: We may log anonymized “purchase completed” events via our analytics provider (e.g., Firebase or Apple App Analytics). This helps us understand which features users buy and improve our offerings. No personal identifiers are attached to these events.
